Senior Procurement Officer



Job Responsibilities:

Establish relationships with suppliers to minimize cost and maximize benefits.
Facilitate the station / operations in decision making related to purchasing requirements.
Build relationships with key stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications and liaise with shared services as needed.

Collaborate with legal, financial and operational entities to draft and negotiate major agreements and supplier contracts.
Prequalify, manage and monitor supplier performance.
Ensure adherence with the company policies, systems, and procedures.
Draft agreements, RFQ (Request for Quotation), RFI (Request for Information), (Request for Proposal), and draw comparisons/recommendations
Custodian of all documents hard & soft copies.
Control cost/expenses and build a culture of long-term saving on purchasing cost.
Analyze spending trends and identify opportunities to consolidate spending.
Responsible for operational aspects of day-to-day procurement requirements of the Station
Take all necessary measures to avoid supply chain disruption of goods & services without compromising quality and standards
 

Job Requirements:

Graduate with at least 5 - 8 years of experience predominantly in Procurement is a must.
Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
Knowledge of Ariba
CIPS qualification (any level) is an added advantage.
