Senior Contract Administrator


Responsibilities:

Good understanding of claims and entitlement

Preparation of sound contractual correspondence

Collaborating with internal procurement, estimating, construction and Branch Office contracts teams, amongst others to ensure contracts compliance.

Obtaining contract-related information from relevant parties.


Reviewing contracts, verifying accuracy, and resolving discrepancies in line with company rules and guidelines.

Ensuring relevant documentation is part of new contracts/ amendments to contracts and maintaining files of relevant documentation.

Liaising between parties regarding subcontract agreement development, and negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and drafting and revising changes as required.

Identifying potential risks contract changes may pose to company.

Progressive tracking of the status of variations, claim submissions and approvals to provide accurate updates for management.

The compilation of submissions of cost proposals and variations


Requirements:

BSc Engineering / Quantity Surveying

10+ years of experience in construction

Proficient knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract and other international contracts.

Proficient with MS Office Excel and Word


Outstanding organizational skills.

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient ability to detect errors and inconsistencies.
