A major oil & gas organization in Qatar is looking to hire immediately
RLIC Transportation Superintendent
Bachelor or Associates degree or more than 5 years construction experience.
Minimum ten (10) years’ experience and five (5) years’ experience in project execution. Supervisory experience is a plus. • Project experience (last 3 years) is a plus.
Responsible for overseeing and stewarding the effectiveness and management of all RLIC Project transportation by the Project Management Team and EPC Contractors and its sub-contractors within a culturally diverse environment.
Maintains an active Project Management Team role in all aspects of worker welfare to ensure Contractor and Sub-contractor compliance with project objectives and adherence to Project and RLIC requirements.
Responsible for the oversight and management of the EPC Contractor’s Transportation/Road Traffic Management programmes and all traffic issues inside and outside if required at Project Gates operation’s work fronts.
Reviews and approves EPC Contractor’s transportation sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning and method statements to ensure comprehensive safety and risk have been mitigated.
Responsible to represent NFE Onshore Project as its first responder with the EPC Contractor for emergency Traffic situations on 24/7 basis for the EPC work.
Provides oversight and management of the EPC Contractor’s site improvement projects to efficiently manage travel flow within the EPC Contractors’ sites and flow onto the RLIC road network. Provides NFE Project liaison to RLIC to support the EPC Contractor’s Traffic Management efforts.
Develops and provides routine reports on the status of traffic operations to the Camp O&M Head. Also supports Construction Mechanical Equipment Team to ensure all passenger vehicles are in good operations shape working and supports inspections of all transportation equipment when required.
