SENIOR INTERIOR ARCHITECT
An outstanding opportunity to join one of Qatar’s top high-end interior design studios. This established company is looking for a Senior Interior Architect to join its already talented team. Working on a range of residential and hospitality projects in Qatar.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Producing and overseeing interior fit-out drawings
As a senior, you will be responsible fro managing a team
Delegate tasks and ensure drawings are to standard
Working on bespoke joinery, elevations, plans, sections, and RCP’s
Visiting sites and assisting in construction supervision.
Site surveys & designing joinery, bespoke furniture, lighting & fixed finishes
Working as a team and individually
Coming up with design solutions
Exceptional interior architecture understanding and skills, from the proven experience in high-end residential or hospitality projects.
A good understanding of the entire design and contrition process.
Strong managerial skills
Innovative problem-solving skills
A good eye for design and exceptional attention to detail.
A passion for interior and architectural design
A great team player attitude
Assisting the design director with resourcing & costing for potential jobs
Confirming and developing the client design brief
Managing multiple projects simultaneously
Leading site meetings as representative of the client
Leading and mentoring other team members, developing their abilities as designers
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:
You will have proven ability in leading and managing multiple projects, managing both the client and consultant teams, ensuring successful project completion to project, quality and cost targets. You will be confident and competent at working with clients and consultants to establish briefs and fees, show exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
At least 8 years post qualification experience of high- end residential and commercial projects
Good grasp of interior architecture with strengths in FF&E design
Proven track record of leading multiple projects from concept to delivery
Demonstrable team leadership, project management and budgeting skills
Competency in producing and reviewing detailed drawings, schedules and specifications
Exceptional attention to detail and extensive knowledge of materials, finishes and detailing
Ability to present design concepts and ideas with confidence and passion
Experience of liaising with architects, consultants, specialists and suppliers
Proficient using resource & project management software
Proficient in Autocad
Experience user of Microsoft Office
Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Indesign
Excellent communication skills in English ( verbal & written )
Free-hand sketching skills and experience of modelling programs would be welcome
