BARISTA
A barista creates and serves coffee, espresso, tea and other beverages. They may also prepare bakery items, such as croissants or muffins, to serve customers. A barista has many responsibilities in addition to making coffee, including:
· Greeting customers
· Answering questions regarding menu items
· Maintaining knowledge of all menu items
· Informing customers of any specials
· Building relationships with regular customers
· Recommending options when requested
· Following food and drink recipes
· Preparing other food items
· Operating, maintaining and cleaning equipment
· Keeping the store clean
· Taking payments and giving change
· Following health and safety policies
