Hotel Manager




We are looking for a Manager to lead the management of a 5 star hotel. Fully accountable for all aspects of the successful day to day running of the establishment Operationally. Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise.


Responsibilities


• Oversee day-to-day operations

• Design strategy and set goals for growth

• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses

• Set policies and processes

• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally

• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees

• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance

• Direct the employee assessment process

• Prepare regular reports for upper management



Skills and Experience


• Experience managing large teams

• A solid understanding of cleaning bedrooms and managing inventories

• Experience navigating customer feedback, inventory and maintenance related and other computer systems.

• Resilience

• Managing Change

• Time Management and planning

• Analytical Thinking and problem solving

• Effective communication (Bilingual is a plus)


Qualifications


• Bachelor degree in hospitality/property management, business or economics

• Operational experience with minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement, facilities management and/or real estate management

• Experience in vast array of hospitality/leisure properties: hotels, services apartments, theme/amusement parks etc.

• Experience in PM and FM issues / problems and respective remedial actions

• 3+ years of relevant experience in managing operations across all departments within the hospitality industry.
