We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Doha LLC Qatar for a Senior Project Control Engineer
Job Purpose:
This position is a unique opportunity to
Senior Project Control Engineer assist and Support Project Control Manager in Project Planning, Progress reporting and maintaining project details. Ensure implementation of the client Contract requirements in area of responsibility and report any deviation to the Project Manager through the line responsible.
Your main duties will be to:-
Follow-up, monitor and control the overall project and detailed schedules on Site and report deviations and areas of concern to Project Management
Manage the Project administration function
▪ Support Project Team members in analyzing schedules and progress information within the respective disciplines
Follow up the overall and discipline detailed schedules on site and coordinate progress
Coordinate the schedule follow-up and reporting from different project team members
Support project team members in analyzing and reporting on schedules within the respective disciplines
Communicate with Accounts and Purchase to ensure Quality and Correctness of data in the Project Management System
Manage the document control system in project server and live link project archive
Coordinate the review and comment on Contractor Monthly reports
Coordinate, follow-up and control the Project cost
Coordinate and prepare planning and progress information for the Project Monthly Reports
Review and control invoices from Contractor and other sources for approval by Project Manager
Coordinate and prepare the Project Monthly reports and Steering Committee presentations
Profile
Ideally you will have Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with minimum of 12+ years of direct and relevant experience in project control in large EPCC projects with oil and gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer industries.
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
