Construction Specialist

Job Summary

Lead the Construction teams. Ensure all construction issues, initiatives, tasks achieves the set goals.

Provide guidance & recommendations in the development of construction enhancements and standardization.

Ensure any set initiatives and tasks assigned to him are completed and implemented on projects.

Assist on monitoring the input from Construction Team and analysing and reviewing all relevant construction procedures, documentations & activities of the projects and enhance where shortfall is identified.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 20 years’ experience with 10 years in a similar role

Preferred Qualifications

BSc / BEng in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant field

 Engineer- Water

Job Summary

Contributes to successful project completion by providing technical services in accordance with project time, quality and cost objectives as agreed with Project Manager.

Contributes to client satisfaction through being responsive, timely and effective in all communication with clients.

Responsible for the preparation and successful completion of all deliverables. relating to gravity networks including supporting calculations and specifications.

Undertake hydraulic model build and analysis.

Maintain, enhance and apply both design and technical knowledge-ensure protocols of drawings are correct.

Coordination with other departments and services for completion of complete package deliverables.

Produces technical calculations to high standards of quality using current computer software.

Prepares technical specifications.

Ensures compliance of design with all applicable standards and regulations.

Provides technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.

Conducts surveys, studies, site investigations, as required.

Recommends and prepares technical reports/notes.

Ensuring adherence to Quality, OH&S and Corporate Standards.

Ensuring that all activities are performed in a safe manner and comply to AECOM’s OH&S requirements.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

Provides comprehensive commercial support for various design and construction projects, monitor on-schedule completion of projects, monitors risks/issues and help develop options to resolve.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) reviews submissions of cost estimates, invoices, changes and claims. When necessary, checks independently cost estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) produced by Others. Coordinates with multiple internal departments, Consultants and Contractors. Assists in preparation of the monthly cost reports.
