Graphic Designer
Job purpose
The Graphic Designer will work on a variety of activities such as window designs, advertising, posters, exhibitions, in-store displays, corporate communications and identity. He/she will work to a brief agreed with the Creative & VM MAnager to develop creative ideas and concepts.
The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software as well as a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines all in keeping with the Harvey Nichols Doha objectives. You'll need to be well organized as you will juggle multiple projects, have an eye for fine detail and have an understanding of current brands and fashion.
Duties and responsibilities
Developing design briefs that suits the required purpose for in store visuals or advertising/marketing
Create 3D window and pop-up renderings for seasonal launch implementations
Design production ‘ready-to-print’ files for manufacturing purposes
Understand 3D production, types of printable materials for installations
Working with a range of software media, including computer-aided design (CAD) and keeping up to date with emerging technologies
Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design
Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
