Field Service Engineer
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for accurately diagnosing, repairing, and testing gas detection equipment in an efficient and effective manner. They will be trained and gain experience using our unique software platforms and become an authority in diagnosing, repairing and testing of components and instruments at large. This position will be based in Doha, QATAR and will harness leadership and technical abilities to drive team performance. We are on track to end death on the job by 2050. Responsibilities and Objectives:
Mentorship
Ensure that all operations and activities align with ISC policies and government regulations
Develop, coach and mentor other technicians to ensure training and competency requirements are met
Coordination
Review and make decisions in conjunction with other members of the Service Team
Supervise various work queues to fulfill customer requests
Assist other teams with basic job duties as the need arises
Maintain documentation and records
Technical Expertise
Diagnose, repair, configure and test gas detection equipment within project time limitations while focusing on quality
Work with our proprietary software to program special settings for sensors, users and locations
Cross-trained and knowledgeable on all service processes (IRO, CRO, iNet, Rental)
Cross-trained and highly competent on all instruments and docking stations
Preparation and testing of rental instruments and accessories
Visits to Customer sites and perform Diagnostics, Repair and Trainings
Travelling in MEATR regions for site installation, commissioning, trainings and supports
Accurate entry of customer information into Oracle, Salesforce or iNet control
Communicate issues and follow-up to the customer by phone or email
All other duties as assigned including Logistics Coordination, Shipping and Receiving Spare Parts, Instruments as advised by Manager
Daily inventory management and material handling
