Hire Desk Controller- Exp in Logistics and Operations- Manlift Qatar



This role will be responsible for efficient and effective operation of the Qatar Hire Desk functions; this will cover the AWP and Generator operations.


· Attending to incoming hire desk related calls, distributing incoming calls as required.


· Preparing hire agreements and emailing/faxing to the customer.


· Following up hire agreements, LPO’s prior to delivery of machines.


· Ensuring all paperwork is completed and filed in coordination with the Workshop Manager to ensure machines are ready to dispatch to clients.


· Arranging the correct transport to deliver the machines after coordinating with site persons and sales managers for delivery & collection times, site location details & specific site access needs.


· Preparing “pre-delivery” photographs of the machines & having them printed out and attached with the delivery notes.


· Preparing the delivery notes and providing them to the transporter.


· Maintaining current utilization reports, ops supervisor schedule reports, and equipment availability reports


· Collecting / following up for the acknowledgement by the customer / client.



Equipment Washer / Wash Bay Operator




Maintain a clean and a safe work area, adhere to best practice safety procedures.
Read, follow, understand and communicate written instructions and procedures.
Wash and clean MEWP and associated equipment in a timely and professional manner.
Report any abnormality/near miss to the immediate supervisor.
Work within and supports The Manlift Way.

All tools used must be operated in the manner for which they were designed; looked after and returned to their correct location at the end of the working day.
All work practices must be safe. Applicable “Personal Protective Equipment”, such as Safety glasses & hearing protection, must be used at all times where applicable.





Key Account Manager- Rental Sales- AWP or Heavy Equipment Industry




Responsible to develop profitable and sustainable equipment sales activities in line with the overall Manlift sales strategy and budget.

- Responsible to develop profitable and sustainable equipment rental sales activities in line with the overall sales strategy and budget;

- Ability to value sell solutions;

- Participate in the definition of the rental strategy, to achieve annual plans and budgets;

- Manage own rental performance based on set of agreed KPI’S and targets;

- Gather, analyze and anticipate customer needs and market developments and opportunities;

- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers and partners;

- Provide accurate, timely and complete management information, including but not limited to previous rental and forecasted rental;

- To follow up payments and debtors with co-ordination with credit collection department.

- Complete understanding of pricing and proposal methods.

- Maximises all opportunities in the process of closing a rental.

- Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.

- Assists in the implementation of company marketing and business development plans.

- Update CRM database of qualified leads through referrals, face to face, cold calling on business owners, email and networking;

- Maintains accurate records of all rentals and prospecting activities including rental sales calls, presentations, closed rental sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory





Aerial Work Platform Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic - For Qatar





Maintain a clean, and safe work area, adhere to best practice safety procedures.
Maintain positive customer relations through professional interactions with customers.
Responsible for the safe maintenance and repair of a variety of Aerial Work Platforms and associated equipment, which utilise mechanical, diesel, electrical and electronic systems.
Installs and repairs mechanical, hydraulic or electrical parts such as hydraulic cylinders, engine parts, switches, controllers and associated components.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
Lubricates and cleans parts
Starts / operates devices to test their performance
Sets up and operates repair equipment and repair parts according to instruction & procedure
Diagnose, and carry out preventive maintenance according to manufactures, and Manlift requirements, as well as fault finding, troubleshooting, and attending breakdowns on all equipment in rental and sales fleet.
Reads, follows, understands oral and written instructions.
Issue “Field Service reports” and “service work orders” on maintenance tasks and faults, and the parts, labour and time taken to complete the task.
Maintain service vehicle in a clean & professional manner
Operates equipment, demonstrate and familiarise customers when necessary.
Inspects used parts to determine imperfections or changes in dimensional requirements
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments & repairs or replaces defective parts & components
Installs special functional and structural parts in devices & equipment.
Calibrate equipment using electronic aids and procedures and programmable controllers.
Troubleshoot and Inspect machine (mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components) to detect faults and malfunctions.
Perform a variety of specialized maintenance and repair work assigned such as –major overhauls of engine, hydraulic pumps & cylinders, rotary coupling, swing drive, torque hub and other mechanical components.
Perform first check and final inspection of machines in accordance with TMW guidelines.
