Inspection Planner

The Role
You Will Be Responsible For
Ensuring effective and efficient maintenance services of electrical and field instruments and resolving any electrical and instrumentation issues.
Ensuring electrical and instrument maintenance as per best practice, corporate policy and regulatory requirements.
Acting as a first point of contact for complex repairs and working closely with vendors to address and resolve technical issues.
Ideal Profile
Degree in Science or Engineering/Diploma in Engineering.
ASNT/PCN NDT Level II in PT, MT, UT is considered as an added advantage.
You have at least 5 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Industrial.
Experience with SAP and Meridium is required.
Experience of Primavera or MS Project shall be considered added advantage.
Good knowledge and experience with MS office and familiar with both SAP and Inspection Management systems (data uploading into inspection packages)

Plant QA/QC Inspector

The Role
You Will Be Responsible For
Ensuring effective and efficient maintenance services of electrical and field instruments and resolving any electrical and instrumentation issues.
Ensuring electrical and instrument maintenance as per best practice, corporate policy and regulatory requirements.
Acting as a first point of contact for complex repairs and working closely with vendors to address and resolve technical issues.
Prepare QA/QC documents (Quality plan, Inspection & Test plan, QA/QC procedure, WPS, Welder qualification record, Operating Procedures, Method Statements etc.) related to modification, repair or maintenance project works.
Prepare QA/QC documents required for Shutdown planning, review work packs from shutdown team, identify and perform critical material inspections prior to shut down, perform inspections and provide support during shutdown execution, including for discovery repair works on equipment and piping.
Perform and ensure stage-wise inspections for repair/modification/replacement jobs undertaken in the plant, including material inspection, PMI, witness of pressure tests, provide inputs for Risk Screening, Formal Risk Assessments, evaluate deviations request for hydrotest waivers, etc.
Perform valve inspection, review MTC and requirements with respect to asset specification, witness valve testing at Workshop or Contractor’s shop and prepare Valve Test Reports.
Review Contractor QA/QC documentation related to job/ project performed for maintenance.
Perform inspection at site, warehouse and at the CONTRACTOR premises on purchased or rented received material or equipment such as valves, piping, gaskets, fittings, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, lifting equipment, gas cylinders, etc., to check conformity with purchase orders and specifications requirement.
Co-ordinate for required NDT, call off RT crew, review NDT reports, interpret RT films, review PWHT charts & records
Prepare QA/QC reports for the jobs performed with details/pictures and maintain proper records/logs.
Should be conversant with Meridium (for QA/QC report preparation), and SAP (for material and Work order details).
Interpret applicable material standards, specification, technical data sheets, project specifications, and P.O. requirements etc. to evaluate the acceptance of jobs or supplied materials.
Perform inspection during fabrication/erection by COMPANY or CONTRACTOR at COMPANY or CONTRACTOR premises.
During course of Inspection, the Inspector is expected to perform, Visual, Dimensional Inspection and make use of other NDT techniques like, Conventional PT/MT etc. & PMI, Hardness Testing, Delta Ferrite Content Measurement, Coating and Metal Thickness Gauging or any other techniques that will facilitate inspection process, as required. Witnessing of destructive tests on specimens to assess conformity to Specifications and Standards at testing labs.
Provide/supervise QA/QC activities (Welding/ PMI/ Painting/ NDT/ Hydrostatic test, etc.) as per specifications requirements on COMPANY equipment or facilities, at COMPANY sites or CONTRACTOR premises.
Following up on fabrications or repairs required on COMPANY equipment and spares.
Assist Supervisor for carrying out audits on suppliers and contractors’ Quality assurance and control systems and to provide technical evaluation and recommendation to other departments.
Knowledge of general computer programs of MS Word, Excel etc. is a must for day to day working, preparation of Inspection report, E-mail communications etc. Job may also involve web search to gather any required technical information.
Undertake additional specific inspection related duties / special tasks as directed by Supervisor.
