Senior Accountant
We provide end-to-end logistics covering the complete logistics cycle, starting with procurement and distribution, transport, delivery to the customer and ending with return logistics to increase productivity, efficiency, time management and cost reduction, for our prestige clients. With our thorough understanding of supply chain technologies and business, we provide efficient logistics solutions to all individuals, home businesses, e-commerce, and small & Medium enterprises.
Key tasks:
To ensure the corporate integration of finance, treasury, and cash management objectives, policies, and procedures
To ensure the coordination of internal reporting and development of management reporting and analysis of the company’s financial and operating performance are aligned with the quality assurance and improvement plan incorporating best practices
Manage funds to ensure optimum utilization with reference to available resources
Forecasts the requirement of funds for both short-term and long-term goals
Actively take part in budgeting, risk management, and financial reporting
Facilitate financial reports and have a keen eye for profits, losses, etc.
Monitor cash flow, prepare accounts, and work on financial models
Manage and oversees a finance team capable of accomplishing an internal finance function
Qualification and expertise needed:
Bachelors/MBA degree in Finance Accounting ( CIMA, ACCA, CPA would be an advantage)
6-8 years of relevant experience
Minimum 4 years of cash management, forecasting, and planning experience
Experience in the Logistics industry would be an advantage
Computer literate with sound knowledge of ERP systems
Must have excellent speaking and writing skills in English
Arabic language skills will be a plus
Good planning and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize your workload appropriately
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change
