This role provides opportunities to work in a tertiary setting covering both acute inpatient and outpatient care. The successful candidate will have recent experience working within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role will include ongoing support to preterms, neonates, infants and children with normal and abnormal development; well as parent and staff education. Opportunities to work in specialist outpatient clinics such as the High Risk Infant Follow-Up Multidisciplinary Clinic and Physiotherapy Infant Development Clinics will form part of the caseload for the right candidate. Evidence of developing and leading a specialist area of physiotherapy is highly desirable.

The ultrasound imaging service provides inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures on adult patients on a referral basis and medical research. Through the production of high quality images, the Sonographer is responsible to ensure a high standard of service is continually provided to all patients, parents and other hospital staff as prescribed in the patient care and facility standards.
