Store Associate
Provide the highest standards of customer service by demonstrating excellent knowledge of products and services
Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of safety / security in the store without any negligence
Patiently address all customer related grievances or get a concrete solution from superiors and feel customer satisfied with best shopping experience
Ensure that all sections/cash/back-store are neat and clean and all items are correctly priced
Ensure Product knowledge workbooks/manuals are completed/studied in the given time
Ensure the highest standards of merchandising and housekeeping standards are maintained in store at all times
Supervisor
Develop, implement and maintain operational standards to a level of excellence throughout the store, in line with company policies and procedures
Monitor and continuously seek to understand commercial environment, local trading patterns, competitor activity and market trends in the retail sector and their impact in store
Maintain strict levels of confidentiality with regard to all areas of the business particularly commercial information and personal details of employees
Carry out regular and relevant in-store training, audits and enrol staff on relevant Learning and Development courses
Provide a safe and clean store environment for employees and customers
Monitor sales performance against last year, last week and budget on a daily and weekly basis and communicate to staff
Monitor handling of customer complaints in line with Company policy and seek regular feedback
Set, monitor and continually seek to improve customer service standards within the store
Implement and maintain a relevant induction program in line with company policy
Maintain high standards of visual appearance throughout the store including all non-retail areas
Maintain a high level of store security for company assets, cash, stock and employee property
Ensure seasonal peaks and important trading/promotional events are taken account of when preparing forecasts and staff rosters
Exhibit and promote high standards of internal customer care
Optimise the use of support resources, including the Visual Merchandisers, Cashiers, Sales Staff, Back store staff etc
Operate an effective stock management/Back store management system to maximise sales and profitability
Participate and contribute in monthly/quarterly/annual business reviews with quality suggestions and its implementation
Take on territory / concept specific projects for betterment of self and business development
To work closely with Asst Manager / Manager of the store to drive business as per requirements
To learn and practice other functions of retail management e.g. cashiering, stock management, team performance management etc
