Warehouse & Logistics Manager
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To lead all aspects of the Warehouse & Logistics functions, focusing on implementing core and bespoke processes for a cost effective and compliant storage, handling and transit of goods in a complex food business. Manage all international and local logistics vendor relationships, including 4PL/3PL partner in the cluster. Monitor and performance-manage the all department metrics through relevant KPI’s, develop transportation and storage plans that will be in-line with Supply Chain’s, and ensure timely and accurate information flow within and outside the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Develop and manage the divisional Warehousing & Logistics (Distribution) management systems
Achieve a compliant, business relevant functional system
Manage a focused transportation and storage business model
Lead, educate and report all warehousing and logistics metrics for continuous improvements
Drive capabilities on warehousing and logistics, focusing on stability, opportunities and threats.
Lead functional related Internal and External Audits, ensuring best in class audit scores
Ensure continuous and early feedback is given to the business regarding volatility, major deviations from plan, etc.
Set and maintain all transportation and storage targets and SLA’s in conjunction with the requirements of the business.
Manage the relationship between the local logistics department and divisional supply chain.
Assist to budget and manage all warehousing and logistics costs for the department.
Lead communication with brand and other functional heads with pro-active solution mindset
