About the Job:
As a data scientist you will be working on exciting challenges, like:
Drawing insights from data sets.
Executing proof of concepts.
Developing novel ways to meet objectives using statistical techniques.
Implementing and testing SOTA machine learning models.
Playing a crucial role in designing, building, and implementing analytical and statistical solutions.
Requirements:
Degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
At least 3+ years of professional experience in data science and analytics.
Strong statistical background (e.g., distributions, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, sampling, …)
Solid and practical knowledge of machine learning and deep learning principles and techniques (supervised, semi-supervised and unsupervised, NLP, Computer Vision …).
Experience working in python and corresponding libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy, sklearn, xgboost, tensorflow …)
Comfortable in querying SQL/NoSQL databases.
Strong English language communication skills.
Practical knowledge of cloud platform services (especially on AWS) will be a plus!
Experience with time series and geospatial data and models will be a plus!
