SIMULATOR SUPPORT SPECIALIST



JOB QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor of Engineering with minimum of 10+ Years related experience on CAE technologies.

Strong Knowledge of simulated systems and instruments/avionics interface including but not limited to SIM XXI, CAE R3 & R4 technology and 7000 XR.

Strong Knowledge of motion EMM technologies.

Strong Knowledge of Visual systems.

Knowledge of CAE software and applications including but not limited to CAELIB, STARTEAM, Strive framework, Visual Systems, SIM XXI, Simfinity, Launchpad, ITMS.

Knowledge of C, C++ and FORTRAN programming languages and scripting languages (Perl).

Knowledge of Microsoft development tools for Windows platform (Visual Studio 6.0 and higher).

Self-motivated, dynamic, team player.



Simulator Technician III (m/f)




CAE is looking for a Simulator Technician III in Doha. In this role you will perform preventative maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.


Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.

Diagnose and correct complex problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.

Utilize maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.

Provide technical training for other technicians.

Complete all designated training activities.

Perform pre-flight and post flight on all simulators.

Perform visual alignments.

Assist Engineering Team with modifications, design changes, and software enhancements.




Group Leader Technical Operations



CAE is currently looking for a Group Leader Technical Services in Doha. As a Group Leader Technical Operations, you will be the point-of-contact for all issues pertaining to the simulator Technicians and Engineers and responsible for the following, but not limited to areas:


CUSTOMER SERVICE & SUPPORT:


Establish and maintain a strong and effective relationship with the customer and gain their trust and respect.

Monitor simulator discrepancies and ensure that they are prioritized and corrected in a timely manner.

Monitor and assure all simulators ready for training.

Provides technical advice to customers and may be asked to conduct meetings with customers and/or regulatory agencies.

Plan and coordinate daily activities and work assignments along with future projects in order to minimize customer impact; Identify and track recurring and potential system problems and confer with technical experts and colleagues to formulate working plans to alleviate problems
