Accountant – Treasury Department
Scope of work:
• Process the overall tasks of cash collections, daily cash reconciliation, and ensures accuracy of cashier functions.
• Ensures assistance is in place for cashiers and training for new cashier joiners.
• Oversees the cash forecasting and analysis. • Accurately and efficiently performs complex cashiering and back office functions for Sidra’s daily, weekly and monthly cash collections and reconciliations.
• Ensures continuing training and guidance to cashiering staff.
• Ensures team adherence to the Sidra policies and procedures.
• Preparation of the daily bank deposit in accordance with Sidra policies. .
• Verification, processing and posting of all direct debits, standing orders and other automatic payments.
• Maintains records of all cash applications and cash / receipts reconciliation.
• Manages and assists where required with error correction and balancing on a daily basis.
• Supports the line Manager in all cashier related matters.
• Assists the line Manager in contributing to all management reporting functions in relation to cash receipts within the treasury activities in an accurate and timely manner.
• Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
• Adheres to company's standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 5 years experience of the same position
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
