Pharmacology Faculty




Candidates must have



M.D., Ph.D., PharmD, or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree

A record of excellence in teaching and scholarship and research interests that complement with those of WCM-Q.

Previous experience in the teaching of the principles of pharmacology and systems pharmacology in a medical curriculum.

An interest in contributing to research in medical education and participating in administrative roles in teaching.


Candidates should Have



A minimum of three years of significant teaching experience in a university or academic health system, preferably in North America

Strong leadership skills

Experience with several learning modalities, including problem-based learning (PBL), team-based learning (TBL), lectures, small group sessions, journal clubs and bed side teaching

Experience providing individual support, feedback, and advice to medical students

Knowledge of medical education curricular development and innovations

A track record of biomedical, clinical or educational research would be highly advantageous




Business Systems Analyst



Job Responsibilities


Analyzes business needs and current technologies. Proposes updates to current systems or applications, new solutions or improvements to current processes.

Proposes well thought out models that capture key components/functions and provide frameworks for the business and technical assessment of systems.

Provides input into the project planning process with team members by identifying potential issues that could affect project schedule and suggesting ways to address those roadblocks.

Follows operational objectives by studying finalized requirements and operational/project plan.

Prepares and implements test plans for the implementation of new solutions, system enhancements, modifications, application fixes, and new software releases.

Provides support to users of systems: student information system, learning management system, WCM-Q website, online outreach platforms, and business process workflows. User support includes general help desk support, training, and system documentation.

Keeps all stakeholders and users updated on the status and completion of their projects and requests.

Adept at managing relationships with the suppliers and vendors of our business and educational solutions.

Ensures standard security best practices and protocols are followed by all stakeholders in the implementation, use and support of all systems.

Follows organizational standards for the full life- cycle management of systems.

Any other relevant task as assigned.


Education & Experience


Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably Computer Science or Information Management Systems)

4 or more years of relevant experience.




Physiology Faculty




Required Qualifications



The applicant must have Ph.D., MD or equivalent degree in physiology or a closely related discipline.

A minimum of five (5) years of significant physiology teaching experience in a university or academic health system.

Proficiency in all areas of human physiology.

A record of excellence in teaching and scholarship.

Experience with several learning modalities such as lectures, problem-based learning (PBL), team-based learning, small group sessions, and journal clubs.

Experience in teaching to culturally diverse student population.


Preferred Qualifications



Preference will be given to applicants who provide evidence of their successful involvement in the development and delivery of innovative approaches to teaching and who demonstrate their strong record of excellence in and commitment to teaching

Preference will be given to applicants who provide evidence of their successful involvement in scholarly activity.
