General Ledger Accountant

General Ledger Accountants are responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and compliant financial documents. They also advise the company on ways to reduce expenses, and they ensure the company operates within financial regulations to avoid penalties.

Responsibilities

1- Handling all daily patty cash transaction of Kuwait operation, production, and head office

2- Handling all Employee imprest Fund of Kuwait operation, production, and head office

3- Handling all prepaid exp. of Kuwait, prepaid insurance, lease, Subscription, communication, G&A

4- Handling Accrued Exp. lease & rent, insurance, G&A.

5- General posting, classification, and reallocation of cost centers.

6- Handling Cash Audit for new coming stores Kuwait 2, and any new store in near future

7- Maintain all IFRS 16 entries addition and termination

8- Handling related parties’ transaction and reconciliation

9- Zakat, KFAS and income tax filing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or relevant field

• Communication skills in Arabic and English

• 3-4 years of similar experience

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Proficient in excel
