Pharmacist
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Ensure the accuracy of information in the prescription by matching with patient data and verify the doses mentioned in the prescription drugs and agree on drug interaction.
-Reviews prescriptions for appropriateness of therapy to determine ingredients needed and to ensure correct dosage.
- Checking prescriptions to ensure that there are no errors and that they are appropriate and safe for the individual patient.
-Prepare prescriptions and dispense it to patients.
- Checking expiry date for the medication.
- Checking temperature and humidity daily for the fridges and pharmacy.
- Ensure the provision of medicines in right place and enough in the pharmacy.
- Responsible for regular checking of medicines quantities, availability, storage condition and matching the number of medicines with the inventory records
- Providing advice on the dosage of medicines and the most appropriate form of medication.
Phlebotomy Technician
To be Kuwait Hospital’s Phlebotomist, you will have:
· A Bachelors Degree or equivalent Certification in Phlebotomy
· A valid full Medical Council Registration and current Certification and License
· Understanding of standard blood drawing practices and procedures
· 1-2 years of proven experience as a phlebotomist for adults, neonates, and pediatrics
· Good interpersonal skills and communication
· Able and flexible to work nights, evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
· Strict adherence to safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
· Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
· Evidence of working within a dynamic, rapidly expanding healthcare provider is preferred
· Working knowledge of MS Office and other medical-related IT systems
· Passion for continued professional development
