Food and Beverage Manager
Your Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic plans to drive the success of our food and beverage offerings, including international franchises, local brands, own brands, catering services, and other unique experiences.
Maintain a keen eye for emerging industry trends, innovation, and consumer preferences, adapting our offerings to exceed customer expectations.
Manage and mentor a talented team of chefs, restaurant managers, and service staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the team, and foster a culture of growth and advancement.
Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, creativity, and employee satisfaction, leading to high levels of staff retention and productivity.
Design, Implement and optimize efficient operational processes and procedures (SOP’s) to streamline workflow and enhance productivity, ensuring smooth operations and consistent delivery of high-quality food and service.
Develop and implement innovative menu concepts that cater to a diverse range of customer preferences and dietary requirements.
Monitor and analyze customer feedback and reviews to continuously improve the quality of food, service, and overall dining experience.
Collaborate with the Alhazm design and construction teams (Eng. & Fit-Out) to ensure that all food and beverage outlets are visually pleasing, functional, and aligned with the Alhazm luxurious ambiance.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and culinary professionals to ensure the highest quality ingredients, products, and services are consistently delivered.
Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial performance, driving profitability and maximizing revenue streams.
Coordinate with marketing and events teams to create captivating dining experiences and events that drive footfall and enhance Alhazm brand image.
Plan and oversee special events, and seasonal campaigns to drive traffic, increase revenue, and create buzz around Alhazm dining outlets.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene across all food and beverage outlets.
Ensure compliance with all local and national regulations regarding food safety, hygiene, staff, and licensing.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Alhazm Management, HQ-Centralized Functions Managers, tenants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and a positive working environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree inhospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of10 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in upscale or luxury settings, with a focus on Qatar's market.
Proven track record of successfully managing diverse dining establishments, including international franchises, local brands, and unique concepts.
Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and achieving revenue targets.
Exceptional leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards a common goal.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, culinary innovations, and customer preferences.
Food safety certification and familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
