Head of Finance
We are looking for a highly accurate Head of Finance to oversee all financial activities. The responsibilities include managing financial tasks and ensuring that finances are used beneficially. He / She should also ensure that investments and finances comply with regulations and maintain the finances of the organization effectively and increase profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
2. Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
3. Generate financial reports and statements to management for review.
4. Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
5. Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.
6. Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion.
7. Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
8. Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
9. Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
10. Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
11. Calculate direct labor, material and production costs.
12. Review standard and actual costs for variances and report variances to management for decision-making purposes.
13. Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
14. Analyzing data collected and recording results.
15. Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
16. Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
17. Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures.
18. Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports.
19. Making estimates of new and proposed product costs.
20. Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
Educational Attainment :
Accreditation in Accounting or degree from a reputable school or University
Worked experience :
8-15 years of Industrial Accounting
